


Elaine has had a varied and extensive experience in the medical and nursing profession. Her Career started over 20 years ago and she has been in practice since graduating from Southampton University in 2002. Elaine believes in the holistic approach to her clients and promotes a whole sense of wellbeing. She complements her expertise in foot care with the use of acupuncture, ultra sound therapy and reflexology. She has undertaken many post graduate courses and has particular interest in dermatology and nail problems.
Elaine returned to Plymouth to settle with her daughter after in living abroad, in London and Oxford. She enjoys keeping fit, and loves the beaches of Devon and Cornwall where she regularly treks the coastline walks with her rescue greyhound, Maisie.
The term Podiatry, now in use in the UK, incorporates chiropody care and includes dermatology/skin, nail surgery, fugal nail problems, diabetes foot care, foot pain and ANY condition affecting the lower limb.
Podiatrists undertake a minimum 3 year medical science honours degree course whilst practising with the NHS. Elaine is also, as mandatory, registered with The Health Professional Council. Podiatrists must undertake continuing Professional Development courses to maintain the right to practice.
